Cockpit Engineer

Shanghai | Master's degree or above | 5+ years of relevant experience
Responsibilities

1.Responsible for requirements capture and architecture design of the cockpit-cabin Human-Machine Interface (HMI).

2.Responsible for cockpit-cabin human factors design and validation.

3.Manage equipment selection, installation, and supplier development/coordination for cockpit systems.

4.Construct cockpit mockup platforms and conduct ergonomic assessments.

5.Support airworthiness certification activities and occupant safety analysis.

6.Prepare technical documentation related to human factors and ergonomics.

7.Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

1.Master’s degree or above in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related fields. Exceptional candidates may be considered with a Bachelor’s degree.

2.5 years of experience in cockpit human-machine systems, experience with civil aviation aircraft, general aviation aircraft, or civil aviation simulators is preferred.

3.Familiarity with standards such as CCAR 23/25/27/29, DO-160, etc, is preferred.

4.Knowledge of airworthiness standards related to human factors and ergonomics is preferred.

5.Familiar with human factors theory and possess practical application experience.

6.Strong English reading comprehension skills.

7.Excellent communication, logical thinking, analytical and summarization abilities, and strong expressive skills.

8.Strong self-motivation and initiative, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
