Senior Airworthiness Engineer
1.Plan airworthiness activities for aircraft structural design, loads, and strength disciplines—including loads analysis, static/dynamic strength, and structural durability. Prepare compliance checklists and specialty certification plans (CP).
2.Conduct airworthiness compliance reviews for verification activities related to structural design, load calculation/strength analysis, composite material allowable tests, ground strength tests, and flight tests. Review compliance documentation.
3.Promote the establishment of structural and strength design standards within R&D departments; oversee manufacturing inspections for strength test articles/test mechanisms and support airworthiness compliance efforts.
4.Liaise with airworthiness authorities such as CAAC, explain and demonstrate structural and strength-related airworthiness activities to authorities to demonstrate compliance with airworthiness regulations.
5.Perform other airworthiness-related tasks as assigned by the company.
1.Bachelor’s degree or above in Structures, Mechanics, Aircraft Manufacturing, Mechanical Automation, or related fields. Experience in aircraft structural design, structural strength analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance assessment is preferred.
2.3+ years of relevant work experience, familiar with airworthiness regulatory requirements.
3.Knowledgeable about general aircraft structural design configurations, design characteristics, and key considerations for strength evaluation, particularly basic methods for composite structural design and strength airworthiness compliance.
4.Strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication and teamwork skills, good coordination abilities, and strong documentation skills, adept at research and analysis.
