Structural Engineer

Shanghai | Bachelor's degree or above | 5+ years of relevant experience
Responsibilities

1.Decompose airframe structural subsystem requirements based on project plans, implement overall design concepts, understand aircraft usage scenarios and key design considerations, and accurately identify critical structural design factors.

2.Lead airframe structural design in accordance with airworthiness requirements and overall design specifications, including load path design, tolerance design, cost control, and performance optimization to ensure advanced structural design of the aircraft.

3.Responsible for airframe structural concept design, manufacturing technical requirements, EBOM (Engineering Bill of Materials), and other technical documentation.

4.Liaise with manufacturing and assembly suppliers to resolve technical issues related to part fabrication and assembly.

5.Complete other tasks as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

1.5+ years of experience in aircraft structural design (experience with general aviation aircraft or ton-class UAVs is preferred; candidates with complete aircraft type development project experience or airworthiness certification experience are preferred).

2.Bachelor’s degree or above in Aerospace Structural Design, Mechanical Design, Mechanics, or related fields.

3.Proficient in aircraft composite and metallic material structural design, as well as manufacturing and assembly processes.

4.Skilled in using 3D software (familiarity with composites design modules is preferred).

5.Strong English reading comprehension skills.

6.Excellent communication, logical thinking, analytical and summarization abilities, as well as strong verbal and written expression skills.

7.Strong self-motivation and initiative, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
