Structural Engineer (Doors & Functional Structures)

Shanghai | Bachelor's degree or above | 3+ years of relevant experience
Responsibilities

1.Identify key design considerations and specifications based on airworthiness requirements and overall design objectives.

2.Responsible for the structural design of movable functional sections, including passenger doors, baggage doors, emergency exits, etc. selection of door finished components/accessories, coordination of cabin interior integration. Ensure designs meet requirements for airworthiness, strength, functionality, ergonomics, manufacturing, and cost, while guaranteeing the advanced nature and reliability of the aircraft’s functional design.

3.Responsible for the structural design of the aforementioned sections, component drafting, EBOM organization, and follow-up/validation of manufacturing processes.

4.Coordinate with manufacturing suppliers to resolve technical issues related to the fabrication and assembly of these sections.

Requirements

1.3+ years of experience in aircraft door structural design (familiarity with general aviation aircraft or ton-class UAVs is preferred).

2.Bachelor’s degree or above from a 985/211 university in Aerospace Structural Design, Composite Material Structures, Mechanical Design, or related fields.

3.Proficient in using 3D software for ergonomic simulation, motion simulation, and 3D drafting.

4.Excellent communication, logical thinking, analytical and summarization abilities, as well as strong verbal and written expression skills.

5.Strong self-motivation and initiative, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
