DPM Fadillah praised Yon for starting a high-tech company in China and the accomplishment of the tilt-rotor E20 eVTOL, and he wished that E20 eVTOL would be commercialized in Malaysia in the near future.

Malaysia is a resource-rich archipelago country with a thriving tertiary industry such as tourism, which accounts for more than 50% of the total output value. In addition, Malaysia has a certain foundation in the aerospace supply chain and is one of the world’s major industrial chains for aircraft structural components and repair, operations and maintenance services. Next year, China and Malaysia will celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations. The high-quality Belt and Road cooperation between China and Malaysia continues to deepen and make solid progress, and the results of our cooperation are showing in various fields.

Yon said that TCab Tech has kept close communication with Malaysia’s relevant authorities for both aircraft certification and business development. “We will make full use of Malaysia’s unique tourism resources and manufacturing capabilities to promote the potential collaborations on aerial sightseeing and air travel, and to promote the high-quality development of eVTOL industry.”

About TCab Tech

TCab Tech is a leading innovative enterprise specializing in the development of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Founded by a group of engineers passionate about making Urban Air Mobility (UAM) a reality, we are committed to creating a reliable air mobility ecosystem that offers zero-emission aerial ridesharing to the public.

We envision a future where Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) reduces daily commutes, giving people more time to spend with their loved ones. We have developed the E20, a passenger-carrying, vectored-thrust eVTOL, by integrating proven aviation technologies, advanced electrification, and intelligent algorithms.

The name “TCab” is a metaphor for “time taxi,” reflecting our mission to offer the public an affordable and time-efficient means of transportation—and above all, to let everyone enjoy the joy of flight.
