TCab Expands Indonesia Presence with Intercrus Partnership, Advancing Regulatory and Commercial Pathways for Advanced Air Mobility

At the 8th CIIE, TCab Tech launched the “Air Silk Road Global Pioneer Partnership” to build a global ecosystem for Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). Through collaboration with partners across operations, markets, and aviation expertise, we aim to accelerate AAM commercialization and create new possibilities for next-generation air mobility.

In Singapore, TCab Tech has established a strategic partnership with NexAvian, an AAM strategy and advisory firm, to support its Southeast Asia expansion. The collaboration focuses on ecosystem development, regulatory engagement, and market readiness, strengthening TCab Tech’s pathway toward AAM commercialization across the region.

What is an eVTOL and how is it different from a helicopter?

Compared with helicopters, the E20 eVTOL offers the following advantages:

  • Higher Safety

Electric architecture adds safety redundancy. Failure of any single power unit does not affect normal flight. Probability of a Catastrophic Failure Condition:10⁻⁸per.

  • VTOL

With vertical takeoff and landing capability, the aircraft operates without conventional runways, allowing flexible deployment from compact vertiports and rooftop landing sites while significantly reducing infrastructure and operating costs.

  • Lower Cost

Lower aircraft manufacturing and maintenance costs. Projected operating costs are approximately 1/10 of those of comparable helicopters.

  • Affordable Fares

Projected fares of approximately MYR 2–3 per passenger-kilometer, making air mobility accessible to more people.

  • Lower Noise

100 times less noise than helicopters

  • Green Energy

Pure electric, low carbon travel

What are the key advantages of the E20 eVTOL, and what problems does it solve?
  • Power Source: Fully Electric
  • Configuration: Tilt-rotor
  • Capacity: 5 seats ( 1 Pilot + 4 Pax )
  • Payload: 450 kg
  • Maximum Speed: 320 km/h
  • Maximum Range: 200 km
  • Cruising Altitude: 300-600 m
  • MOA: 3,000 m
What is the commercialization plan for the E20 eVTOL?

Providing an alternative to traditional helicopters for aerial sightseeing.

Providing aerial shuttle routes from major transit hubs to tourist destinations.
